Wildlife Tours in India

Jim Corbett National Park:

Jim Corbett is located in Himalayan region in Uttarakhand state near Ramnagar city. With a diverse flora and fauna it is popular for tigers specially. You can also see leopards and elephants. It was built in 1936. It is said that there are 110 species of trees, 50 species of mammals, over 580 species of birds and 25 species of reptiles in Jim Corbett Park.

Bharatpur Sanctuary:

Bharatpur Sanctuary is one of the most famous sanctuaries situated in Rajasthan. It is the best bird habitant not only in India but around the world. There are more than 300 species of birds here.

Periyar National Park:

Situated in Western Ghats of Kerala, Periyar is home to Indian tigers and elephants. You can also see Gaur, Wild Pigs, Barking dear, Sambar and Mouse Dear.

Gir National Park:

Gir National Park is situated in Gujarat and is spread in 116 square miles. It is known for Leopards. In fact it is biggest home for leopards.

Kaziranga Sanctuary:

Kaziranga is situated in Assam. It has been declared as the highest tiger reserve in the year 2006. The park is home to almost two-third highest density of the one horned rhinoceros.

Manas Wildlife Sanctuary:

Manas wildlife sanctuary is situated in Himalayas in Assam. Major species found here are Assam roofed turtle, Golden Langur, Hispid Hare and Pygmu Hog. It is UNESCO world heritage site.   

Kanha:

Kanha is located in Madhya Pradesh and is known for Bengal tigers, Sloth bear, Leopards and Barasingha.
